Loading ...With the coming elections in May we have a lot of surveys coming out right now and it is really affecting the public’s decision. Are they even real? Are we sure that this surveys are not rigged to the advantage of certain candidates? I mean I never even had the chance to be a part of this survey. No one has ever asked me to take this surveys we are seeing on TV.
With the presidential candidates spending millions and even billions of pesos for their campaign, how can we be sure that they didn’t use part of that money to make a survey saying their number one just to influence the choices of the people. Surveys are very powerful because they can sway the decisions of the public. Many people have the mentality to just choose between the top two survey winners so that their votes is not wasted on their true candidate. This is very common to Filipino people, not choosing their real candidates but just choosing the lesser evil between the top 2 survey winners believing their candidates has no chance of winning even if they voted for him/her.
I’m really excited about the coming elections, so for the sake of it lets have an online survey for everyone. We will see if the surveys we are seeing on TV is accurate.

I would stay firm with GORDON, he has more concrete actions. He made his own good reputation and also does not need celebrity endorsers, some have them just to get popularity…where are their platforms?

Moreover, for sure he must have gotten the qualities of his father who was the SSS Administrator for a long time. He made sure that the funds cannot be touched even by the former President Marcos because it belongs to the working class.

i agree with R. Lopez.. gibo is also rich..very rich.yet he didn’t even make that “rich status” part of his political affair..what i mean here is that he didn’t involve it in his political agenda..in my opinion,he is for the service not for that monetary exchange.. he has all the best qualities a leader should have..i don’t have any grudges against any presidentiables..in fact, i’m still choosing between mr. teodoro and mr. aquino..i just don’t want villar to be the next president

I agree with you! You are not alone, I have talked to a lot of friends about their insights this coming election. Most of them agree that GORDON is the best leader but may not be voting him for shallow reasons (not leading the survey … etc).
Maybe I could give you my insights why you don’t feel like voting Gordon. With your comments here, I believe you really did a lot of research about the candidates and the reason that I see for not voting Gordon is that ”Most Filipinos are not yet ready for the big change” that GORDON is honestly relaying to the public. I’ve seen a lot of supporters for GIBO but I will not waste my vote experimenting for him. A real wise person would vote for the one, who have already proven his capacity. Our country could not waste 6 more years, waiting and just observing to prosper. We need ACTION now, and it all begins with US!

I will vote for Sen. Richard Gordon for the next President of our country. He is the only one who is more qualified for the job. He is a brilliant senator,lawyer: author of several laws, Former Mayor, public servant : Philippine Red Cross & Tourism to name a few achievements. He is one the most clean / No record of corruption in governance / sincere politician with good intention to help our country to achieved progress, security and free of corruption. He express openly several issues bravely to carry – out the people’s voice of dissatisfaction from anomalies in government. I know a lot of people doing voluntary (FREE) campaign for Gordon. I can’t even believed that my previous manager has even visited Gordon’s headquarters just to get campaign materials. Most of my friends are even going out despite the lack of sleep supporting Gordon. I’m sure that like me, they see the real change of our nation through Gordon’s leadership.
I’m really very excited, seeing our country being run by Gordon!

We need to find ways and I’m proud that Filipinos are very creative on how to do this. I’m out of the country this time but I can cast my vote through absentee voting.
Travelling in different countries, I could say that Philippines is the richest in whatever resources except for the discipline that we are lacking and the kind of thinking that is drowning us to poverty.

Just wanted to share my personal experience. My parents are voting for NoyNoy, but after showing them videos and feeding them information we are now of the same vision. We need to help our fellowmen, they were also victims of this bias media and the so called charisma. I am for Gibo because he is the most qualified, qualification-wise and performance-wise. Despite his low survey ratings, he doesn’t engage in black propaganda just to get noticed.
That is the kind of president I want. His connection to GMA doesn’t automatically mean he is GMA’s “tuta” or he will follow GMA’s footsteps. In a similar manner, Noynoy, as evidenced by his “walang nagawa” record, cannot and will not be like Ninoy and Cory.
